Busy Period Staff
QUBooks requires staff to work serving from O-week through to the end of 2nd or 3rd week of semester. Hours negotiable. A small number of staff will be able to work throughout the semester.

We require people who are quick and accurate and willing to keep our customer queues moving.

Students that would be available at the start of semester for the next 2 to 3 years are preferred, that is first year undergraduates or first year PhD students.

We are currently seeking Casual Counter Staff (Retail)

Duties and Requirements of the job: Retail sales of text books and associated duties (e.g. restocking shelves, packing up orders etc).

This is NOT a holiday job. We need people who can work at least 12-15 hours per week (not counting evenings and weekends) during the first two weeks of semester. Continuing employment beyond the 2nd week of semester will be offered to some successful candidates.

Applications MUST include your day-by-day availability to work during the first two weeks of semester, based on expected timetable. Applications without this information cannot be considered

Students with another 2-3 years of study ahead of them (and therefore able to work here for several years) will be highly regarded.

Is experience necessary? No, but those with previous retail (non-food) experience will be highly regarded.
